The Ezra family extends well beyond those students enrolled here. It’s a central part of the greater New Haven Jewish world. Parents, grandparents, siblings, alumni, teachers, retired teachers, donors, and volunteers all take tremendous pride in our school, and look for ways to contribute.

You can be part of the Ezra community by joining our vibrant Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), which organizes fun events throughout the year and is always looking for ways to support the work of the school.

Want to get involved? Click here to contact current PTO President, Robyn Silverman, or PTO Treasurer, Jessie Pearl.

Looking to pay dues? Click here or send a check payable to Ezra PTO.

Or you can be part of our community by attending one of our joyous celebrations, like the annual Hanukkah pageant (stick around for the end, and you’ll see the parade of alumni join current students in singing “Hatikvah”!) or the year-end graduation ceremony, when every eighth-grader gives a speech.

Our community comes together once a year for the Ezra Gala, where we eat, drink, laugh, honor distinguished alunni, and bid on enticing auction items.

And we gather several times a year for havdalah ceremonies, sometimes with s’mores; come, and be part of our community.

To donate—time, effort, or money—is also to be part of our community.

If you are looking for ways to get involved, whether you have a child enrolled here or not, just call or write to us.
