Happy Thanksgiving from 3 and 4!

In 3rd grade Judaics, we have been learning the Torah story of Abraham welcoming guests in his home.  We discussed how we can welcome guests in our home, G-d in our lives and how we can make our homes more welcoming.  The children made a house with the bricks having the ideas written on them.  We also used this opportunity to discuss how only adults should talk to strangers.

In art in honor of Thanksgiving, the students finished their thankful tree to take home to share. If they finished early, they also created thankful leaves to hang up in school.
