As part of our commitment to Jewish continuity, Ezra Academy strives to provide a Jewish day school education for all Jewish students who seek it. Parents are encouraged to inquire about tuition assistance, as there are many factors that are considered in determining need.

*Additional commitments and fees include activity fee ($300/child) and building fund ($500/family). Each family is also asked to raise funds for Ezra Academy’s scholarship ad book.

Families pay for Ezra Academy in a variety of ways. The most common are:
- Monthly payment plans – Ezra Academy uses Smart Tuition
- Need-based Tuition Assistance
- Contributions from the family’s synagogue or Federation
- Support from grandparents and other family members
A strong tuition assistance program at Ezra Academy helps support students who otherwise may not be able to attend the school. Grants are awarded on the basis of demonstrated financial need, and assistance is available at all grade levels.
Assistance decisions are guided by financial data submitted by parents to an independent committee that works on behalf of Ezra Academy — the Ezra Tuition Assistance Committee. This financial information, along with the names of families who ultimately receive tuition assistance, is kept confidential and not shared with any member of the Ezra community.
Tuition assistance is awarded on a yearly basis. We recognize the award of tuition assistance is a commitment to a family, and therefore continuing assistance can be anticipated as long as financial need continues to be demonstrated each year. Tuition assistance decisions are made by a separate committee and have no bearing on the admissions process.
