Ezra’s illustrious sixth-graders went back in time today to get a feel for the daily lives of the hunters and gatherers who lived long ago  during the Late Paleolithic Period.  Setting forth to hunt for woolly mammoths and to gather grains and  berries, the intrepid students searched high and low in their quest for sustenance.  While no mammoths were found, unfortunately, they did come upon boxes of chocolate chips cookies in the underbrush, which served to satisfy their ravenous appetites and insure their survival for yet another day.  They returned to school weary after a good day’s work.
