Middle School math courses for grades 6-8 are varied and based particularly on individual student needs. We offer sixth grade math, pre-algebra, algebra 1 over one or two years, and geometry. Each of these courses incorporates the standard of the Common Core, and students are well-prepare to tackle the higher-order math courses that they will encounter in high school. Problem-solving remains a key focus in each of these classes, as do applied math activities and projects where students experience the real-world tangibility of math, and its applicability to their lives.
